Dirk Lombard Fourie
Dirk began his prolific journey as a video editor, filmmaker, and writer 25 years ago. In 2001, his film Ouma Plaas won the Flame Award for Best Screenplay. The following year, his short film Teaching Stanley won the NTVA Silver Stone Award for Best Short Film. He graduated from City Varsity Film, Television and Multimedia School, majoring in directing.
His talent continued to shine, and in 2007, his film In God’s Country (co-written by Daniel E. Dercksen) won the Jury Prize Award at the Apollo International Film Festival.
Dirk’s exceptional skills as a video editor were recognised in 2013 when he won the Vodacom Award for Best Television Program, Against All Odds, in both the regional and national competitions.
Since then, Dirk has been involved in international productions as a video editor for documentaries, TV programs, and social media content for various local and international broadcasting channels and clients, including eTV, eNCA, BGTN, South African Tourism, Nala Media, and Tiger’s Milk.

Kudakwashe Tavonga Sitivini
Kudakwashe Tavonga Sitivini pursued a degree in Film, Radio, and Television Production at the University of Zimbabwe, where he collaborated with the creative department and undertook freelance projects. Subsequently, in a role as marketing manager at a school, he focused on creating graphics and editing promotional videos.
As a video editor, Sitivini thrives on transforming ideas into compelling visuals that inspire and captivate audiences.
Besides specialising in video editing, he is a graphic designer who creates promotional videos, social media content, and branding projects. He has collaborated with marketing teams, content creators, and clients, honing his skills in teamwork and communication.

Glenn Bloch
Glenn Bloch holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree with a major in Photography and Printing. Following his academic achievements, he earned a diploma from VEGA College, specialising in Photography and Lighting Mastery. His professional journey began with event, festival, and portrait photography, a field he explored extensively for four years before expanding his expertise to include videography and video editing.
Over six years, Glenn has honed his skills in capturing diverse subjects, ranging from food and products to personal and corporate events. With over four years of experience in video editing, he has developed a diverse portfolio showcasing his creative versatility. More recently, Glenn has dedicated the last two years to refining his graphic design abilities, adding logo design and motion graphics to his repertoire.

Francois Gerke
He began editing on 16mm film in 1981, progressed to video in 1986, and moved to AVID editing in 1994, which he continues to use today. Over the years, he has gained proficiency in various non-linear platforms, including Final Cut, Premiere Pro, and Da Vinci Resolve.
The essence of editing and directing for him is to create a coherent narrative that clarifies events and highlights their importance. Regardless of whether the editing task is simple or complex, he aims to ensure a clear and purposeful experience. He is also passionate about wildlife documentaries and human interest stories.

Nelson Madzima
Nelson Madzima is a freelance audio engineer with over 3 years of experience in editing, mixing, and sound design. He has worked on telenovelas, reality shows, radio programs, feature films, short films, and documentaries. Projects include collaborations with Showmax, the European Union, and Zambezi Magic.
His passion for audio storytelling drives him to highlight nuanced details in every project, adding a unique dimension through sound.

Zandile Ngumbela
Zandile Ngumbela is a video editor with over 15 years of experience in broadcasting and small production companies. She is dedicated to turning creative visions into impactful visual stories.
Zandile excels in teamwork, transforming abstract ideas into cohesive productions through collaboration. She ensures every project resonates with its audience through her commitment to excellence and attention to detail.
As part of The Edit Booth Collective, Zandile brings reliability and creativity, contributing to boundary-pushing projects. Her hard work and passion for video production continue to make a notable impact in the industry.

Sthabiso Malibongwe Luthuli
Sthabiso Malibongwe Luthuli brings over seven years of experience in video editing, having contributed to major productions such as Selimathunzi and worked with THAPE Media on both offline and online editing projects. His expertise extends to content creation, including shooting and editing for YouTube channels such as Ndemazeah Godlove and Mac G Podcasts.
Luthuli is driven by the impact of his work, finding motivation in the reactions and enjoyment of audiences as they engage with his final creations.

Katleho Samson
Katleho’s multimedia expertise stems from a solid educational foundation and diverse professional experience.
After studying Fine Arts, Graphic Design, and Multimedia, he worked as a Post-Production Engineer at SABC Audio Park and gained corporate experience. He later earned a Diploma in Audio Production, focusing on editing and production for U.S. artists.
Katleho specialises in sound, video, and AV integration, excelling in boardroom settings and live worship stages. His work consistently delivers professional-quality multimedia solutions tailored to brand objectives.

Balungile Lamla
Balungile Lamla, from Qwaqwa in the Free State, started as a rapper and then discovered a passion for video editing through filming music videos. His theatre exposure, influenced by his brother at the Market Theatre, inspired him to merge stage plays with cinematic storytelling.
Balungile has worked on diverse projects, including the documentary video for Coal Yard, a play at the Market Theatre, and an advertisement for the Zoop app owned by the CEO of OnlyFans. These experiences demonstrate his adaptability and technical skill.
Committed to storytelling and collaboration, Balungile continues to excel in video editing.

George Temba
George Temba is a skilled video editor and colourist with a strong foundation in motion picture production, specialising in editing. His industry training includes collaborations with prominent organisations such as Multichoice and Urban Brew, where he refined his technical expertise. As a freelancer, George has contributed his creative talents to projects for leading entities, including Vodacom, the Joburg Film Festival, the Independent Electoral Commission (IEC), and the University of Pretoria’s Javett Centre.
George’s work reflects a passion for crafting compelling narratives that resonate with audiences across diverse storytelling formats. His ability to adapt to varied creative roles, such as those of creative producer and editor, has enabled him to build an impressive portfolio showcasing his versatility and dedication to high-quality production.
